Inca Inchi Oil - also known as Sacha Inchi Oil - is obtained from the mountain peanut. It grows in the rainforests of the Peruvian Andes and has already been cultivated by the Inca many centuries ago. The name »Sacha Inchi« comes from a dialect of the Quechua language family – »sacha« means »hill«, whereas »inchi« translates »peanut«.

Due to its exceptionally high content of precious polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega 3 Alpha-linolenic acid), our Inca Inchi Oil offers a multitude of applications, among other things in cuisine.  Within the context of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle Alpha-linolenic acid contributes with a daily intake of 2 g to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels. The full, grassy oil with its pleasant taste of beans sets a flavorful highlight in dressings, dips, and spreads. Moreover, it improves salads and mushroom dishes.
