This velvety oil is pressed from sweet, gently toasted almonds. An experienced master roaster keeps a careful eye on the process, to ensure optimum temperature and duration, so the precious ingredients and the fine taste of the high-grade almonds are preserved.
Almond oil lends a superb aroma primarily to pastries, cakes, and desserts, but also salads, sauces, and marinades. It is one of the very few gourmet oils suited for baking. If you partly replace the oil or fat – for instance butter – specified in a recipe by Toasted Almond Oil, the cake will gain an especially fine taste.
Due to its remarkably high content of vitamin E, Toasted Almond Oil is also highly valuable from a nutritionist’s point of view.

Where does the vitamin E come from? Was it added to the oils artificially?
Vitamin E occurs naturally in cold-pressed cooking oils because the plants make this vitamin and, due to its chemical properties, it passes to the cooking oil during cold pressing. Incidentally, the following are especially high in vitamin E: natural Sunflower Oil, natural Safflower Oil and natural or roasted Almond Oil.
