Budwig Cream



400 g of quark cheese or curd
180 ml flaxseed oil
180 ml of milk
1 tbsp honey

Whisk the curd with flaxseed oil until well mixed. Add milk and honey and stir into smoothie.

Budwig Cream can be easily adapted into a dessert or a savory bread dip.

Sweet choice:
Add some agave sirup and berries on the cream, and it becomes a light and health dessert after meal.

Savory choice:
Season the cream with chili, saffron and Espelette pepper, and it becomes a decent oriental spread.

In the Lusatian region (East-Germany), Budwig Cream is a specialty mixed with fresh herb and eaten with potato.
