Poppy-Seed Oil

· Virgin ·
100 ml

Poppyseed Oil is obtained from one of the oldest cultivated plants in Europe and due to its versatility it was very valued already in the ancient times. Today, the once so important oil has become a true rarity. Our regional farmers of organic poppy seed, such as Simone Speck and Ralf Marold from Thüringen (Germany) are happy to be a part of our initiative “Together for more organic agriculture in Germany”. Under this designation, we only offer oils from regional agriculture. We want to build longterm partnerships with our regional contractual farmers and are very happy about the longterm cooperation with many organic farmers in Germany. However, due to the crop rotation that has to be implemented, our suppliers can vary slightly every year.

Due to the particularly high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-3 fatty acids, the Virgin Poppyseed Oil also nutritionally enriches your dishes. Replacing saturated fatty acids with simple and/or polyunsaturated fatty acids in nutrition contributes to the preservation of normal blood cholesterol levels.

Oil Mixture for Thai Cuisine

· aromatic, fresh & vegan ·
250 ml

This oil blend for Thai cuisine consists of eight carefully coordinated ingredients and is a tribute to the flavours of Thailand. The freshness of lemongrass combined with roasted sesame oil gives the plant-based oil mixture its fresh and nutty taste.

Shiitake mushrooms provide the savoury umami note. Garlic, ginger and the gentle sweetness of mango powder round off this vegan oil blend. The bright orange colour comes from paprika extract.

Tip: Due to the solid ingredients contained, the oil should be shaken well before use.

This new oil blend for Thai cuisine is already the fourth oil in our popular “From Around the World” series, developed especially for lovers of quick and healthy cooking. These flavourful oils are designed to inspire creativity in the kitchen, offer global culinary inspiration, and create opportunities to bring family, friends and guests together spontaneously.

Ideal for small celebrations or quick everyday meals.
