Protein Walnut Flour

The nuts used to make this fine Protein Walnut Flour come from old walnut trees of European origin. After the oil has been gently removed, they are ground into a fine flour which does not just have a delicious nutty flavor but is also particularly rich in protein: at 55 %, almost half of the Walnut Flour is protein. This makes the flour the perfect ingredient for feeding the entire family, especially people who are in particular need of protein such as sportspeople, adolescents, pregnant women, senior citizens and vegans.
With its typical, slightly tart walnutty taste, the BIO PLANÈTE Walnut Flour adds a certain something to cookies and cake, among other things. To do so, simply replace some of the wheat flour in the recipe with the protein flour. It also makes a valuable supplement to shakes, muesli, yogurt dishes and sauces. As the flour is naturally free of gluten, it is the perfect choice for gluten-free baking.
The BIO PLANÈTE Protein Walnut Flour will be available in health food stores from March 2017.
Make sure to drink enough liquid with the product. Add an additional 10 ml of water per 10 g of Walnut Flour to recipes.
