Black Cumin Oil

· Virgin ·
100 ml 250 ml

For more than 2,000 years now, black cumin has been in use in the Middle East as a spice and a natural remedy. It is also known as “Pharaoh’s gold”. However, black cumin is not related to either caraway nor cumin, the seeds also differ considerably in shape and taste.

The BIO PLANÈTE Virgin Black Cumin Oil is gently pressed from high-quality Egyptian seed (Nigella sativa) and only filtered once. The golden-brown oil has a high content in polyunsaturated fatty acids – for example, the omega 6 fatty acid “linolenic acid” with a proportion of 54 g per 100 ml. Replacing saturated fatty acids with polyunsaturated fatty acids in nutrition contributes to the preservation of normal blood cholesterol levels.
